-Given to Immediate Family At Funeral Services.
The Pin helps identify family to Clergy and visitors.
Schools
-Given to students to help the healing after loss of fellow student.
Grief counselors can distribute to students, then gather students as a group
and plant a small memorial flower garden with the seeded portions of the cards.
Senior Retirement Homes, Nursing Homes,
and Assisted Living Communities
-Given to residents after a community member passes.
Residents can start a memorial garden and contribute their seeded portions
of their cards as a lasting memorial.

There are three key phases of the grieving process
that The Grieving Pin helps facilitate:
1. Acknowledgement.

and/or friends of the deceased. This allows the wearer to show others that
he/she is going through a very difficult time.

Clergy can easily identify immediate family and friends, somewhat easing the
often awkward situation of locating them.
2. Healing

bear the pain of their loss, and allows them to focus on the difficult task
of dealing with funeral arrangements and getting through the hectic days following
their loss. This is a very important part of the healing process.

The Grieving Pin and card, after the funeral, is
